Don't Touch That!

Occasionally I see an unusual piece of needlepoint finishing that makes me want to keep it untouched under glass, dust free and pristine, for everyone to enjoy for decades to come.

Mary Agnes Goes to the Trade Show

Mary Agnes of Needle Nicely in Florida reminiscences about going to trade shows in the 1970s. Some things have changed and some things never do!

Not to worry, MA.  I've been elbowed aside by 90 year old Jewish grandmothers who were happy to yell at me in Yiddish at the deli on the Upper East Side many a day.  The exasperated counterman finally told me I was going to have to push back.  Of course, being a good Southern girl, no way could I do that.  Doormat to pushy old ladies--that's me!

I've never had a husband disappear overboard, though.  Neither has MA, I hasten to assure you!

I've made a note to include a young, six foot blonde female on all my future trips, however.
