EGA's Seminar is in Phoenix in 2014 and folks are starting to arrive. The New Jersey Needle Artists crowd is there already! First they visited the shops.

Decorating for Halloween UPDATED LOTS

Everyone is showing off their Halloween needlepoint decorations so I thought I'd collect some of the best examples here for us to all enjoy, particularly those of us who never get trick or treaters.

Rittenhouse, with Candy Corn

Sheena has been on the road, visiting Rittenhouse Needlepoint in Philadelphia between other vacation stops. She's amazed at how much the shop has grown and changed since her first visit right after it opened.  It's a fun read, and Sheena has thrown in a Halloween treat--a chart for candy corn!

Yummy.

She also has been visiting Bedecked and Beaddazzled in Baltimore.  Check out the fun canvases and another great stitch diagram....

Finishing Friday: Halloween and More

For today's finishing Friday we head to Louise's Needlework.  The shop shows off a darling Halloween pumpkin tray perfect for the Phantom of the Opera fan.  This canvas is from Alice Peterson and the tray from Sudberry.

Also for Halloween, one of Louise's customers just finished her Halloweenies witch.  Canvas is by Kelly Clark and guide by Amy Bunger.

Ridgewood's Kappy has a fun Halloween tree and several wonderful stand ups.

Not everyone is a big Halloween fan so here is a great mermaid pillow with fabulous pearls trim.  I think that the canvas is by Alice Peterson.
