Come to the Point Talks Shoulders

Come to the Point's latest newsletter talks about the best way to protect your shoulders when stitching.  Please pay careful attention.  It is all too easy to lose oneself in needlepoint and not remember our bodies need a break.

Dissolves in Water

Although dissolving in water isn't something that is normally a plus in needlework--Who needs threads that vanish when water is added?!  I'd never dare drink coffee near my stitching again!!--DMC has a new water soluble canvas for stitchers to use to put counted thread or embroidery onto a ground fabric that isn't easily countable.  Here is how it works.

Please note that this stuff is different than waste canvas which is dampened when you are finished stitching through it onto fabric so that you can easily pull the canvas threads out, leaving only the stitching behind.
