What Canvas Stops You In Your Tracks?

This posting by Nimble Needle got me thinking: Which painted canvas or counted canvaswork design stops you in your tracks?  Doesn't matter if you will ever stitch it, what matters is it is something that you consider a classic.

Glimpses of ANG Classes

The American Needlepoint Guild (ANG) is choosing classes for their 2014 Seminar, which will be in Chicago. They don't release the class listings this far ahead but a few teachers are talking about what they will teach if enough people sign up. Here are Orna Willis' offerings.

Here is Sandy Arthur's class for Chicago, a followup to her popular "To the Beach" class.

Sandy is also going to teach for ANG in 2013.  Most ANG members have seen her classes but she posted some fun photos on her blog.

Hope everyone who gets to go to these events has a blast!

Exclusive Magnets for Collectors

If you love using pairs of magnets clipped to your canvas top and bottom to keep your needles under control, you will enjoy seeing the new Mag Friends exclusive magnets from Accoutrement Designs. These are produced for one shop and one shop only to sell.  So if you fall for that daisy magnet with its matching scissors fob, you will have to contact Bloomin' Stitches to purchase one.
