Amy's Drinking

Yep, it finally happened. Amy Bunger's slugging back the drinks in her latest newsletter, in which she showcases the various glass and drinks canvases she's stitched guides for over the years, which is a fun way to toast the newest year.  There's more--Tony Minieri classes, the new small figure canvases of Rogue Needlepoint, including a wonderful series of military figures, and a book sale of Amy's duplicates from her collection.  Just click on the link and enjoy.

By the way, if drinks aren't your thing, Rittenhouse is into flowers.

College Needlepoint UPDATED

Once stitchers started blogs where they posted photographs of their work, I began to realize how popular college and Greek fraternity/sorority stitching is.  I've started to collect places to see examples of such canvases.  Kathy Schenkel has a nice selection of college mini socks and a baseball team sock, too.

College football teams seem to have a lot of painted canvases for their fans to celebrate-stitch.  Here's a collection from a Texas shop.

A lot of the Carol Dupress candy canes have college themes.  (She's distributed by Susan Roberts if you are hunting online.)  Here are just a few examples.

There are college stockings,  too!

UPDATE:  Just heard that Keep Your Pants On creates lots of college and sports-themed canvases.  They are distributed by CBK.
