Portraits in Thread UPDATED

Trish Burr has posted more information on Cayce Zavaglia's incredibly realistic portraits.   Although stitched on linen using one ply of embroidery floss, they are not traditional needle painting such as Trish uses for her bird portraits.  Instead, Ms. Zavaglia seems to substitute a needle and thread for paint brush and paint to lay down short lines of color.  It is amazing work!
