Coco Chanel, Wendy Reves and Needlepoint

Coco Chanel's villa on the French Riviera is up for sale again. The house was purchased by Wendy Reves in 1953 and furnished to suit her high style tastes.

Here's a bit more about Wendy.  She sounds high maintenance all right, but fun, too.

Why am I interested?  Wendy had needlepoint pillows with sayings on them in the house. They are still there.  I hope she stitched them herself while sitting on a yacht somewhere.

Yeah, me, too. Maybe someone can find photos. I didn't manage it.
