Nativities and Elephants

Enriched Stitch in Connecticut has some very talented stitchers who own and visit the shop. If you love Nativity sets like I do, you'll be interested in seeing the special touches on this Mile High Princess set that will have stitch guides available when Suzie finishes stitching the set.  No Nativity set is cheap (all those pieces!) but since Enriched Stitch is having a trunk show of the line, you can buy the set with the guides thrown in at twenty percent off.

If you are more interested in animals than Christmas sets, then this Melissa Shirley (I think) elephant stitched by Becki who works at the shop now is one you will want to see.  It is magnificently stitched.  Unlike the naive style of Mile High Princess, which needs a simpler style of stitching, this piece is rich, embellished and tapestry-like.  It is a work of art.

Becki is going to teach her version of Melissa Shirley's Helowise Witch in several classes over May and June, so you can tap into some of that magic if you are going to be around.  I expect a full report!
