Destination Dallas Begins UPDATED

Destination Dallas, the Dallas trade show focused solely on needlepoint, is about to begin!  This is a show just for shop owners that shows off all sorts of products in a "cash and carry" show.  In other words, if the shops see something, they will buy it right then and carry it home to their happy customers.  New items will be in the shops next week!  There's no waiting for orders to be filled like the other shows in the year.  So start saving your pennies but do give your shop owner time to get home, unpack and take a nap.  These things are whirlwinds!  Here are the classes offered to shops that want to pick up new techniques.

This year I've done something different.  Instead of posting here on Blog's main page about al the fun, I have collected everything in the tab named Destination Dallas 2013. New information will be at the top of the page.   I have highlighted the tab so it stands out.  Click there and the latest info will be on top.  Once you are done, click on the Home tab and you will be back at Blog's home page, which is where you are now.

UPDATE:  Marsha just let me know that when she uses her smart phone to read Blog, she can't see the tabs to go to other sections of the site (like Destination Dallas).  We experimented a bit and she discovered that when she typed in the URL to go to Blog she can see the tabs.  When she gets to Blog via a Google search, she can't.  I discovered that when I use my iPod Touch to read Blog, only the Home tab shows BUT there is a little red triangle to the right of the Home tab.  If I click on that, a list of all the tabs appears and I can choose the one I want to visit.  This should work for iPhones but I don't know about Android users.

If you are a smart phone user (and about 500 people a week visit Blog via smartphones), you might want to know these things and play around with them.  Let me know what you find out, ok?   I use tabs more than any other blogger I know but quite a few people use 1-2 on their blog so this is important to know.  You might be missing something!
