Real Color Cards

Kreinik reminds us that they offer real color cards, made with snippets of actual threads. These are wonderful. I have a set myself that probably needs updating but I use it quite a bit when I am trying to mail order threads.  Nothing beats seeing the real thing if you are doing mail order.

Thanks for this post, Jane. I use the Kreinik color cards all the time at the LNS, but had no idea it could be purchased by us "regular folks". It's really not expensive, either, which is a pleasant surprise.

Color cards are pretty useful tools. I use my Kreinik one occasionally but I really use my DMC one a lot since most of my thread shopping is over the phone. "I need a red silk floss similar to DMC xyz."
