It's March First

It is March One and you know what that means--the Woodlawn Plantation Needle Work show is open!  This is the 50th year of this wonderful exhibit.  The show is open six days a week (closed Tuesdays) from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.  Admission is $10 per person but only $5 for students kindergarten through grade twelve.    Note that the entrance has changed.

You can find a link to the 2013 brochure at the Woodlawn site to see the judging categories.

You can read a bit more about the exhibit from this 2012 article on the show.  If you are in the area and can devote an hour or two to seeing great stitching, please don't miss the exhibit.
