Jane, I'm curious as to the significance of the picture of the soldiers where your picture usually is on the top right of blog. I enjoyed the one of you with the motorcycle but do not quite get the one of soldiers. Thanks!

On Veterans Day (11/11) I mark the occasion with a photograph of my husband taken during his military service or sometimes I use one of my father, uncle or other military heroes in my family. Like many Southerners, a great many of my family served America in a huge variety of wars. from the Revolutionary War forward.
