Pepper Pot Silk UPDATED

Planet Earth has a new thread, a silk that is called Pepper Pot Silk.  I haven't seen it myself, but it apparently about the diameter of Caron's Impressions and covers well on 18 count canvas. It doesn't look plyable.  Janet Perry's done a review.

Here is the Pepper Pot Silk website with all the colors.  Click on any thumbnail to see the skein in greater detail.

If your local shop doesn't carry this thread and you want a sample to play with, I've found one shop that carries it.

UPDATE:  My spies report that Bedecked and Beaddazzled in Baltimore carries Pepper Pot Silk.  Anyone else know other locations where it is available?

Jane, Ruth at B&B also carries it. I got some when I attended Julia Snyder's class but haven't used it yet. Feels good to the touch

Thanks, Palma. Most websites don't update what threads they carry all that often, so it is hard to find places that stock the newest threads. Good to know that Ruth's Bedecked and Beaddazzled has it since that's only a 2-3 day mail delivery for me!

Pepper pot silk is available at The Needlepoint Shoppe in Shreveport , LA.

And I love stitching with it!

Ooooo! Thanks, Cathy. I don't think either of the "local" shops here carry it so it is nice to have a source for mail order (not to mention a recommendation!).
