Christmas All Over Again

I know Christmas 2011 is a distant memory by now, overcome by political rhetoric and drowned in sales, debt and bad weather.  But we can revisit the warmth of Christmas any time of the year by visiting these links to see some wonderful finished Christmas-themed projects.  Are you a fan of Prairie Schooler?  Laura Perin is stitching a series of their small Santa charts as one long piece.

The Needle Bug has a series of photos of a snowman cowboy stocking one of their customers is stitching for her husband.  The little touches are amazing.  Click on a photo in the album, wait for it to load, then click again for a closeup.

Stephanie is showing off exchange ornaments her SWAN group has done for each other over the years.

Michele has finished another Kelly Clark Heritage ornament.  These are turning out beautifully, aren't they?

Robin took photos of her Christmas ornaments before she packed them away for another year.  Looking at them all got her interested in kitting up a series of Christmas caT (not car-thanks for the correction!) ornaments to do this year so at Christmas 2012 she can have a new tree full of a new theme.

Feel a little better now?  I do!

Hello Jane,

I was reading that Robin was going to do car ornaments and I thought well I have missed this bit of news. I clicked and realized that you meant cat ornaments and got a chuckle. Maybe now she'll stitch an adorable cat in a car ornament!

Thanks for the correction, Gretchen. Robin would of course do a fabulous job on car ornaments but I did meant CAT. LOL

Hi Jane and Gretchen...
If you do see a cute Cat in a Car ornament... let me know. Sounds like it would be the purr-fect addition to the upcoming cat-themed Christmas Tree. LOL... Hugs to both of you. Robin

Hi Jane... WOW, you are GOOD! Love the cat in the car. Now it sounds like we are channeling Dr. Seuss. LOL.

It does, doesn't it? Very funny. I picked a dog driving for the Canvas of the Day since so many of us are dodging snowstorms. Wouldn't it be fun to have a cat or dog chauffeur?
