Thirty Years Today UPDATED

Needle Nicely in Vero Beach, Florida has been open thirty years! HURRAH!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

To celebrate, everything in the shop is 25 percent off from October 17-22.  With the charges that credit cards put on shop owners, that will work out to over 30 percent off.  Isn't that more fun that eating cake?  Ok, maybe not if there's ice cream, too, but it is still a lovely way to celebrate a shop that has endured and inspired stitchers for so long.

UPDATE:  Mary Agnes reflects on what she would like her shop to be most remembered for:  the use of color.

Jane, thank you so much for your kind wishes. Today was marvelous with several customers bringing in a floral arrangement in celebration and BeStitched from Phoenix calling to wish me 30 more years (I don't think so--I'm far from bionic). However, I feel another 5 years in my future, barring a horrible hurricane.

We all wish you many more years bringing needlepoint to the good folks in Vero Beach. Five more years would be perfect! Especially if they are hurricane-free.

Happy birthday again, and congratulations!
