Summertime, and the Stitching is Slow

Networking Mermaid
I didn't get much stitching done on Cha yesterday, just a few rows of tent stitch.  I was a bit under the weather, probably from the relentless heat.  Today is supposed to be only 97 so that should help.  [sigh]

Lots of other folks have been busy stitching, however.  Shall we head over to visit them?

You'll want to see Melinda's progress on her Halloweenies class by mail from Amy Bunger.  This is a haunted house and its inhabitants, designed by Kelly Clark with stitching instructions from Amy Bunger herself.

Want to read more about using a curling iron on those pesky Neon Rays?  You can read Peggy's original posting here.

Anne of ABS Designs has been stitching a series of three DeRusha state canvases for her son.  Don't miss what she did with her tornado for Kansas! I never would have thought to what Sue suggested to Anne.

Pocket Full of Stitches is belt mad this summer.  They wear them on their feet....

By the way, can anyone identify the designer of the Canvas of the Day for today?  I think it might be a Cooper Oaks design but I am not certain and the online shop doesn't say anything except the Networking Mermaid costs $14.
